Grants for International Students in Spain
There are many institutions in Spain that offer financial assistance for studying in Spain. As an international student, you are allowed to apply for the different types of grants to study in Spain.
The MAEC-AECID grants are available for international students in Spain. These are provided by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (a part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation). These are awarded on annual basis and are targeted at the postgraduate students.
The call for applications is available every year during the last quarter by the Directorate-General for Cultural and Scientific Relations of the AECID (Spanish Agency for International Cooperation) and scholarships are available for both Spanish and international students, over the age of 18 years, having a degree in higher education or those who can show professional experience in certain activities, depending on the particular grant applied for.
The financial assistance offered may include a monthly stipend, along with the accommodation in a university residence belonging to the MAEC-AECID Student Residence Foundation.
- Candidate should have good knowledge of Spanish Language
- Candidates should be no older than 35 on the date they start the course.
